Ningbo Donggang Fastener Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is located in Ningbo, a port city alongside the east coast of China. Ningbo is a cultural city with long history. From the ancient time, Ningbo has earned sound reputation of “a commercial port with prosperity, a pearl in East China Sea”.

Start-up Stage

With a bank loan of 2 million RMB and 14 employees, Ningbo Donggang Fastener Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was founded in 1987. Until now, our company has gone through over 20 years of development. 20 years is just a very short period in the long course of human history. However, to Donggang Group, it is a period of development with challenge and opportunity coexisted, lifetime devotion and continuous endeavor combined.

Process

From the primitive stage of having only 14 staff and 3 sets of equipments, our company has accumulated a certain amount of capital during the first 10 years of starting up.

In 1996, our company made a strategic decision to expand domestic markets on the one hand and put more investment in manufacturing on the other hand.

From 1996 to 1999, we continuously built more workshops and purchased new facilities and equipments, which laid a firm foundation for company’s sustainable development and high productivity. The output value doubled year by year with the updates of equipments and innovation of technology.

Maintaining the new policy of expanding markets by focusing on improving added value of products, we have established long-lasting business relationships with global well-known customers, like Germany Reyher, Italy Vipa and US General Electric, etc. In the long period, we earned their deep trust and DG head mark increasingly enjoyed great popularity among European and American markets.

Having made great progress, the company at that time developed into a certain level of scale, covering 20,000sqm of factory area, gaining a considerable fame and recognition among fastener sector in China.

However, Donggang Corporation still worked hard, pursuing management philosophy of focusing on quality to survive and management to develop. In 1998, with the raising awareness of Chinese own brand, our company successfully registered our own brand-Donggang Fastener. In the same year, Donggang branded fastener began to export to the overseas markets.
 
Social Responsibilities

Donggang Group never forgets to return to the society in the process of its development and growth. On the one hand, we try to advocate environmental protection and energy conservation.

In 2002, our company passed the attestation of ISO14001 Environmental Management System.

In 2005, our company was awarded Green Environmental Enterprise by Ningbo municipal government. At the same year, we were approved as an enterprise of clear production.

On the other hand, we actively participated in Charity Campaign. In 2004, we set up Donggang Charity Fund and in 2007 we increase the fund to make contribution to the community in various ways. More importantly, we have been admitted as a permanent member by Yinzhou District Charity Union.
